Annual General Meeting

The Trustees of The Spring warmly invite you to join us for the AGM on Wednesday 9 December at 7pm online (via Zoom).

Formally, the AGM is to review and update our members about the previous financial year and to hold the elections for trustees and our auditors. Last year seems a very long time ago so although we will be reviewing those results we will also be including a section in the meeting about the impact of Covid 19 on The Spring.

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the charity commission and government amending the legislation around charity AGMs. This not only permits them to take place online, but also allows us to ask our Members to cast their votes electronically or by post in advance of the meeting. Registering votes in advance will help us to ensure that we are collecting our Members votes properly and that the results can be announced at the meeting.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have delivered many events on Zoom and although it won’t be the usual AGM, we hope we can still have an interesting discussion and share with you our recent activity and future plans. The evening will include a chance to ask questions. We know many of these arise from the presentations, but please do share any you may wish to ask in advance, as this will help us manage the evening.
