Audience Development Manager

25 hours per week / £22,000 - £24,000 pro rata per annum

The Audience Development Manager is a new role within The Spring team designed to create and deliver strategies, campaigns and activities to increase, develop and diversify The Spring’s audiences.

In September 2018 The Spring began to outsource a significant portion of its marketing activity to three agencies and freelancers who work together to deliver seasonal marketing campaigns. After a very successful trial period The Spring has extended the relationship to March 2020.  The Audience Development Manager will provide a bridge between The Spring and the agencies delivering marketing activities.

The role will also be fundamental in working with the Director to implement plans to refresh The Spring’s brand and to celebrate our ten year anniversary. The role also includes some day to day marketing and communications administration and for the management of volunteers who undertake some of these tasks.  The position is part of The Spring’s Senior Management Team.

The role is being advertised as a fixed term contract to the end of March 2020 to complement the confirmed outsourcing arrangements, but will be extended beyond this date if the new way of working is successful.

 Volunteers - Kenwood Project

We will be recording the memories of Kenwood workers past and present over the next few months and featuring the stories in an exhibition, book and film. We have around 50 contacts we need to interview and need some volunteers to carry out oral history interviews with individuals and then transcribe them. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds and are happy for people to commit as much time as they would like – there is no minimum expectation.
