Sophie Fullerlove
Sophie leads the team at The Spring. Her role includes all areas of strategic management including working with the trustees to write and deliver all areas of the Business Plan. She also programmes The Spring’s live events and visual arts, manages relationships with funders and partners, is responsible for budgets and fundraising. She is dedicated to making The Spring a cultural highlight for the region.
Sophie has worked in marketing and development roles in arts venues in Hereford and Salisbury. Before joining The Spring she was General Manager at Forest Forge Theatre Company.
Outside her life at The Spring, Sophie enjoys going to the theatre and is an enthusiastic reader and baker. She lives in Southampton with her husband, son and pet tortoise.

Sue Dickinson
Hélène Davies
Hélène grew up in Havant and has been involved with The Spring since she was a child. Since graduating from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Hélène has been very fortunate to tour the UK and around the world as Deputy Stage Manager for English National Ballet. Outside of work Helene enjoys crafts, baking and researching her family history.
Hélène is currently on Maternity Leave
Duty Managers
Our team of Duty Managers make sure our live events run smoothly, coordinating with visiting performers, our front of house volunteers and bar staff so our visitors have an enjoyable time and stay safe.
Our Duty Managers are Nigel Brown, Hélène Davies, Carolyn Greenway and Richard Watts.
Richard Watts
Richard joined the team in June 2018, he grew up in Emsworth and now lives in Havant. He is also involved with Havant Dynamo Youth Theatre, who perform at The Spring.
His background is in the stove and fireplace industry, where he was one of the UK’s experts, representing the industry on various British and European standards groups.
Outside of work Richard enjoys photography, the countryside and watching motorsport.
Anne Howson
Anne has volunteered for 3 years at The Spring & has now been happily working as a member of staff at the box office for over two years.
Amy Stone
Amy joined the team in March 2019 and is responsible for marketing and audience development.
Since graduating with a degree in French and History from Royal Holloway University in 2017 she has worked in a variety of museums across the south east as a project manager and freelance workshop facilitator and is currently Assistant Curator at Egham Museum part time, in addition to her role here at The Spring.
Becky Dunn
I have been a Casual Duty Manager at The Spring since March 2014 (with an 18 month break between June 2017 and December 2018).
I have been a workshop tutor at The Spring since 2010, running over 30 sessions on a variety of arts & crafts - willow sculpture, Christmas wreaths and lanterns, Beachcombers' sculptures, silk painting, upcycled jewellery, Halloween workshops, junk modelling, wire sculpture.
Before joining as a DM, I was on the Spring Board for several years, responsible for personnel.
As well as working at The Spring, I work at Bosmere Junior School in South Street where I run the school library 4 days every week in term time, and on Wednesdays I look after my grandchildren.
I live in Grove Road, just behind The Spring, with my husband, James, and our crazy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Basil and his feline adversary, Mabel.
Vicki Hargreaves
Vicki Hargreaves joins the team at The Spring as a freelance project manager for our exciting new Play Artist Programme, bring playful interactions to the building and community.
Vicki has over 12 years’ experience in the creative industry’s as a producer, choreographer and manager.
In her spare time she runs Commotion Dance Company alongside spending time with her family, exercising and attempting to bake!
