With everyone looking for something to do now we're all spending more time inside, we thought we'd lend a hand an share with you one activity a week to spark some creativity for families.
This week we are thinking about telling stories, who doesn't love a story?
We've started a story about the Hayling Billy Train which used to run from Havant to Hayling Island. You can find out more about the Hayling Billy line here
Your task is to try to finish the story, you can even draw pictures if you want to!
Send your finished stories to us at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 24 April and we will feature some of them on our website!
Don’t forget to share your work in progress photos with us on social media, we would love to see them.
The start of the story goes like this:
The Hayling Billy Train pulled in to Havant station as the sun shone brightly through the billowing smoke. The conductor blew his whilst loudly and called “All Aboard”. As Johnny and his family settled in to their seats, he wondered aloud “What will we get up to today?”
