Some Big Questions

Some Big Questions

At The Spring we love to hear when people have enjoyed an event or have tried something new.  We like meeting our visitors, hearing what you think and smiling at passers-by.  We also want to know where we could do better.  We are really interested in starting conversations and making connections between people. Simply, we are interested in people – you – and how we can serve and build a better relationship with everyone in our community.  The Spring isn’t, after all, owned by the staff or trustees.  It belongs to everyone, so we want to matter to you.

Now, as we emerge from the lockdown and begin to put our lives back together, we want to better understand how the pandemic has affected our community. We want to know what you have missed and what we can do, as The Spring, to help our community move forward.

We want to make sure the events, activities and projects we’re planning are relevant to you – whether you’re someone who knows The Spring or not - and that we are heading in the right direction.

You might have a great idea for a way we can use our resources to support young people or those who have been worst affected by the events of the past year. You might want us to mark the pandemic in our museum for instance. There are no wrong answers.

We’re going to spend the next 6 months asking a lot of questions. We want to hear from everyone – whether you pop in for coffee/lunch once a week, come to performances each season, have visited once in five years or have never ventured through our doors.  We’re particularly interested in hearing from people who live in Havant Borough or within a 20 mile radius.

To start the conversation we’ve created a survey of 13 questions that we hope you’ll complete by clicking the link below. We’ll follow this up with other opportunities to feedback for those who want to. The survey might take as little as 5 minutes, or it could take longer if you have ideas you want to share or something you think we should know.  There are a few questions in there about you. All answers are treated confidentially (and you can choose ‘prefer not to say’) but they help us to not only know who we are hearing from but, more importantly, who we’re not.

As a thank you we’re offering £100 of supermarket vouchers to anyone who chooses to enter our prize draw.  The winner will be drawn after the closing date of 7 May and will be contacted to choose a supermarket.  Entrants must be 18 or over.

Please take part in our survey and let us know your thoughts on The Spring’s role as we move forward.

Thank you.
