The Spring remains closed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.  We are so sorry not to be more of a presence at this difficult time for everyone. Where possible we will continue to deliver events and activities remotely. Please keep an eye on our social media channels and website for further information and join us for our online adventures.

 

A few weeks ago we made the sad decision to cancel all the events that were due to take place at The Spring until the end of July 2020. We were really excited about lots of these and have rescheduled as many as possible so we can share these with you in the coming months.

 

If you are a ticket holder for an event that was due to take place before the end of July you should now have heard from us letting you know the situation.  If your event has been cancelled, you should have been offered a refund, credit voucher or the chance to donate the value of your ticket. We know not everyone is able to donate but a huge thank you to those of you who have.

 

If your event has been rescheduled we will have asked you if you would like to transfer your ticket to the new date or receive a refund, credit voucher or to donate the ticket value.  If we do not hear from you we will assume that you wish to keep your ticket, which will remain valid of the new date. If you would like a refund for an event that has been rescheduled please contact us before the end of August 2020 to arrange.

 

If you don’t think you’ve heard from us yet, or haven’t let us know what you’d like us to do with your ticket, please contact us to confirm. The easiest way to do this is is to email our Box Office Manager on heleng@thespring.co.uk. You can also leave a message on our box office answer phone, which is being checked regularly.

 

Although we are currently closed we are looking at ways that re-opening our building might be possible in the coming months. As soon as we have further news we will update our website, signage and social media.

 

Managing a safe and viable re-opening will be very challenging. We are a registered charity and do not hold huge reserves.  Like many other theatres and museums, our Business Interruption Insurance does not cover us for the closure and the impact of the pandemic. We are working hard to ensure The Spring survives this extraordinary situation and is able to reopen to serve our community.  We believe that little things can make big things happen. We can’t wait to be back open and welcoming you through our doors again.  We miss our colleagues, volunteers and wonderful customers and friends more than you can imagine!
