Family Festival 2017

Join us for an enchanted adventure and discover a world of magic inside yourself with events going on all across Havant Borough!

Keep an eye out for mini magicians and wonderful wizards across Havant this February as The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre celebrate their annual Family Festival. Have fun, get creative and help the little ones in your family discover the magic inside themselves!

Everyone’s got a little bit of magic inside them and to help uncover it, The Spring are offering a programme of events and activities for families all across Havant.

Create Your Own Magic Wand

We’ve sent lots of free craft packs to local community venues so that you can create your very own magic wand – if you make one, share it with us by using #springmagic and then bring it along to any of our Family Festival events below!

Marvellous Magical Pop-Ups

FREE for the whole family, 2-4pm each day

Discover a pop-up world of wizardry and wonder in your local community centre. Explore and help us make the magic and mystery come alive! Pop-in to one of these free sessions and stay as long as you like:

Half-Term Magical Wonders Workshops

The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre
Tuesday 21 – Thursday 23 February, 10.30am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Come along to The Spring and get involved with our magical half-term workshops. Perfect for little magicians, we’ll be getting crafty as well have having fun with interactive stories and games.

Suitable for ages 5 – 10 and accompanying adults.
£6.50 per child

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Join us for a whole day of magic in February half-term! We’re going to have a day of special magical surprises including a performance of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice…

Charlie Hubble is a boy with a big dream – he wants to be a world-class magician. Charlie saves up all his pocket money to buy The Big Book of Magic for Trainee Magicians. He sets off to Mr Zacoor’s Toy Shop, but encounters a surprise… Mr Zacoor is no ordinary shopkeeper. He is a real live sorcerer, and he has a very special job for Charlie.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a perfect half-term treat for young ones aged 3 – 7 and their families.
