Wednesday 6 November, 2pm – 3.30pm
Wednesday 4 December, 2pm – 3.30pm
Our monthly Memory Cafés are a chance for people living with dementia and their carers to relax, enjoy a cup of tea and engage creatively within a small group. With the help of local poet Lizzie Chittleboro the group will explore new ways to communicate and explore how poetry can support people with memory loss in positive ways. Please note that spaces are limited so please book your free ticket in advance.
Fridays from 29 November – 20 December, 7pm – 9pm
Tutor: Jemma Corbin
Step back from the hustle and bustle of Christmas in this gentle, creative celebration of the season, led by professional artist and maker Jemma Corbin.
Each week you’ll try a new creative project inspired by nature in mid-winter. Sessions will include making a set of hand printed cards, a wild wreath using locally foraged plants, a hand poured candle with essential oils and natural, seasonal decorations and wrapping paper.
We’ll supply the tools and materials you’ll need each week, so all you have to do is arrive and unwind.
£60 for four sessions.
