Royal Ballet: The Cellist / Dances at a Gathering25th February
Inspired by the momentous life and career of the cellist Jacqueline du Pré, the first piece in tonight’s double-bill has been choreographed by Cathy Marston, previously an Associate Artist of the Royal Opera House and Director of Bern Ballet. Dances at a Gathering is the second of the double bill. Set to the music of Chopin it has been choreographed by Jerome Robbins.
This performance will be screened live from the Royal Opera House.
