The Artist's Garden: American Impressionism
New for this season, the best exhibitions from around the world will be brought to life on the big screen, through the ground breaking series Exhibition on Screen.
The second film of the season is based on the hugely popular exhibition ‘The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement’ from the Florence Griswold Museum in Connecticut, which is widely considered a home of American impressionism. The story of American impressionism is closely tied to a love of gardens and a desire to preserve nature in a rapidly urbanising nation.
Filmed in studios, gardens and famous locations throughout the Eastern United States, UK and France, this is a mesmerising film experience.
