Online Film Review: BrooklynLed by John Whitelaw 6th January

Our online film review group is a chance to connect and chat about some great or classic films. Hosted on Zoom each discussion will be led by a film expert or fan and will be an opportunity to explore the storylines, approach and filmic styles in more detail.
The online film club is hosted by The Spring on Zoom. Simply book your free ticket at least 24 hours in advance online and we will send you a link to join the conversation. The group is open to those aged 18 and above. Taking part in the Online Film Review is free but please make a donation as at the end of the online booking process.
Tonight John Whitelaw will lead a discussion on Brooklyn, a 2015 romantic drama about a young Irish immigrant in New York. Brooklyn was named one of the best films of 2015, featuring on more than 120 "Top 10" film critics' lists. It was also ranked 48th on the BBC’s 100 Greatest Films of the 21st Century.
