Online Film Review: Night of the Living Dead

Discussion led by Steve Murray 26th August

Our online film review group is a chance to connect and chat about some great or classic films. Hosted on Zoom each discussion will be led by a film expert or fan and will be an opportunity to explore the storylines, approach and filmic styles in more detail.

The online film club is hosted by The Spring on Zoom. Simply book your free ticket at least 24 hours in advance online and we will send you a link to join the conversation. The group is open to those aged 18 and above.

This evening the group will talk about George A Romero’s classic Night of the Living Dead. Made in 1968 this zombie film is not horror in the modern sense. In the light of Black Lives Matter its theme of race relations in America mean this film is more relevant than ever.

You can watch the film for free, in advance of the discussion at: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0078pw1/night-of-the-living-dead

Taking part in the Online Film Review is free but please consider leaving a donation as at the end of the online booking process.
