Eddie and the Hot Rods
Saturday 1 October, 8pm
Rocking their way to Havant are Eddie and the Hot Rods, one of the most influential and recognisable names from the English Rock scene. Loud, fast, and in your face – they’re just as exciting now as they were back in the 70s when they shared a regular weekly bill at The Nashville with the 101’ers fronted by Joe Strummer.
The band was included in the Mojo Top 100 most influential bands, and has enjoyed a career of nearly 40 years. Led by Barrie Masters, with a lineup of Simon Bowley on drums, Dipster on bass, and Richard Holgarth and Chris Taylor on guitar, the band will be bringing a blast of Rock ‘n’ Roll to the stage with classic hits such as ‘Do Anything You Wanna Do’, ‘Teenage Depression’, and ‘Life On The Line’.
Supported by British mod band Reactor 1 and Portsmouth icons Emptifish
