Jim Causley

28 Sep Music

Tickets: £14, £13 concessions

Since folk musician Jim Causley released his debut album in 2005, his unique voice and persona have helped him to become a respected and much-loved figure in today’s contemporary roots and folk scene. He has been nominated six times for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award including for Singer of the Year in 2017. As a relative of poet Charles Causley, Jim was asked to compose the soundtrack to a biographical film about the life of Charles Causley which aired on BBC Four last year. Jim has previously toured and performed with artists including Waterson:Carthy, Eddie Reader, Show of Hands and Kate Rusby, but tonight takes centre stage with his solo folk performance.
