The Budapest Café Orchestra play a blistering barrage of traditional folk and gypsy-flavoured music from across Eastern Europe and beyond. Featuring music from the Balkans and Russia, Klezmer Laments, Romanian Doinas, Hungarian Czadas and more, they are hugely entertaining and evoke vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest café life and gypsy campfires.
The Budapest Café Orchestra played at The Spring for the first time last year and were so popular we’ve asked them back. Book early to secure your tickets for a night of magical and infectious music!
This event was originally meant to take place on Saturday 23 May 2020 and was rescheduled as a result of the coronavirus. Tickets for the previous performance remain valid. If you're unable to join us on the new date please contact the box office before 31 August 2020 to arrange a refund or credit note.
“The fiery vivacity and awe-inspiring musicianship of the finest purveyors of Eastern European gypsy music this side of a Lada scrap heap will leave you with a grin on your face and rhythm in your feet…”
