Up Close and Personal: Charlie Dore
Saturday 29 October, 7.45pm
In the Upper Mezzanine
Join us for our second Up Close and Personal series. These nights are a unique opportunity to witness a musician at close hand in an intimate setting.
Most people know Charlie Dore for her success with ‘Pilot of the Airwaves’ but her songs have been covered by artists as diverse as George Harrison, Tina Turner, Lisa Stansfield, Sheena Easton (No.4 in USA), Celine Dion, Black, UB40, Status Quo, Paul Carrack, and Jimmy Nail. For someone who worked the pub circuit and recorded her first of eight albums in Nashville, she’s enjoyed a fascinating career which also encompasses theatre, radio, television and comedy-impro at The Hurricane Club.
All Up Close and Personal concerts take place on the Mezzanine level of the Museum and are limited to just 40 people so make sure you get your tickets early!
