Not About Heroes is the extraordinary story of two First World War poets, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon. Based on their real-life relationship, this moving play tells the story of the poets’ meeting in Craiglockhart Hospital in 1917 and their ensuing friendship based on their love of poetry and hatred of the conflict that brought them together.
This award-winning story is coming to The Spring as part of a world tour that began in 2017 to commemorate the centenary of both the meeting depicted in the play and of the armistice.
