Common: GroundWhat is the role of The Spring and other arts centres in the lives of working class communities? 23rd January Free
7pm - 9pm
This event is FREE
We are hosting a meet-up for anyone interested in creative work in Havant and our region. We want to hear your thoughts about how The Spring can be relevant, engaging and open to people who consider themselves working class, and we’ll be asking questions about what we can do to make sure we’re authentically accessible to all of our communities.
This session is open to anyone and everyone in the local area, whether they are a creative themselves, a member of the community engaging with the arts in any form, or a member of the community who finds it difficult to join in with the work of The Spring. We will be here, ready to listen and learn, and to make changes for the future.
The session is free, and we want to make sure it is available to everyone. Please let us know what you need – whether it’s a support worker, a meal or anything else – in order to attend, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children are also welcome, as our Participation Officer will be running a free workshop for all ages alongside the discussion.
This event is supported by COMMON, an arts organisation who focus on supporting the creative industries to ensure they are truly accessible to the working class, whether they be artists, audiences, or communities.
