What better play for spring at the Spring than Shakespeare’s beloved comedy As You Like It, presented by Bench Theatre?

With original music by Archie Mac, this fresh, family-friendly version follows Rosalind and Celia as they escape court intrigues for the magical Forest of Arden. Among shepherds, exiled courtiers, and love’s twists and turns, Rosalind, disguised as a boy, navigates challenges, encounters her dream man (who doesn’t recognize her), and discovers if love will triumph.

A timeless tale of humour, adventure, and romance!

Delight in original music before doors open with local Havant-based singer songwriter, Archie Mac. With many of his tracks having aired on various local radio stations including Express FM, Shine Radio, and The Flash, Archie's music blends the raw energy of rock music with the catchy melodies of pop to produce a sound that is both alluring and approachable. Archie has previously composed original pieces for The Bench, playing Feste in 'Twelfth Night', and looks forward to lending his music to their upcoming production.
